About The Position

Amentum is a global leader in the design, construction, and operation of nuclear facilities for government agencies and private sector customers. They leverage deep nuclear domain experience to provide lifecycle services across all nuclear market sectors. Their Oak Ridge Nuclear Center of Excellence (NCoE) is a strategic hub for nuclear design-build expertise, with a staff of over 900, providing full nuclear facility delivery services. The NCoE has a rich history dating back to the Manhattan Project and has continuously led major DOE prime contracts since 1990. Their current experience includes acting as DOE's owner representative for capital asset projects, possessing nuclear facility design/construction knowledge, demonstrating commitment to delivery excellence, maintaining excellent relationships with regulators and stakeholders, and having strong relationships with union management.

Requirements

  • Generally, 8+ years of experience of SolidWorks PDM administration.
  • Possess a thorough knowledge of the SolidWorks Suite architecture.
  • Possess a thorough working knowledge of analytic interpretation of data models and environments.
  • Experience with SolidWorks PDM work processes.
  • Experience with implementing and managing enterprise level engineering information technology in a client-server environment.
  • Ability to accomplish common business objectives in a team environment.
  • Possess a working knowledge or relational database management systems (RDBMS).
  • Possess a working knowledge of programming automation using Microsoft Visual Studio. Net and Visual Basic 6.
  • Possess superior communications skills both written and verbal.
  • Ability to provide leadership in delivering enterprise level solutions to business operations.
  • Experience with Oracle and SQL.
  • U.S. Citizenship required. No dual citizens.
  • Valid driver's license is required.
  • Must be able to work in a team atmosphere.
  • Must put forward a professional behavior that enhances productivity and promotes teamwork and cooperation.
  • Must be familiar with and comfortable working in a team environment.
  • Appropriate grooming and dress code acceptable for a customer environment is necessary.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance as required.
  • Must take and pass a pre-employment drug and background check.

Responsibilities

  • Provide local project support for the entire SolidWorks PDM instance.
  • Responsible for automation processes to ensure the enterprise meets uptime requirements and business objectives.
  • Focus on project application's use, implementation, and improvement.
  • Database maintenance and monitoring.
  • Client and server application implementation of software.
  • Automation development for Amentum Critical Mission Solutions, Nuclear Projects Line of Business programs and projects.
  • Test changes/fixes to server environment for release to production.
  • Project Setup of SolidWorks PDM.
  • Software configuration.
  • Deliverables configuration.
  • Database Maintenance.
  • Workshare and integration setup.
  • Project training and Support.
  • Provide detailed communication with all personnel regarding operational requests for improvement of discipline technologies and their interaction with work processes.
  • Provide analytic feedback and recommendations to management regarding the state of technology being utilized in project execution.
