About The Position

It also includes cross-training in the maintenance and repair of City infrastructure such as Forestry, streets, water distribution, sanitary and stormwater collection systems, and grounds and facility maintenance.

Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent (GED)
Valid Driver License
Be on call
Field work daily is expected – average 2 hours per day

Nice To Haves

2 years supervisory experience
2 years experience in solid waste
Experience supervising union employees

Responsibilities

Develop, facilitate and assist Public Works Technicians in collection of solid waste including trash, recycling and compost side-load, rear-load and front-load operations.
Cross training in maintenance and repair of City infrastructure including Forestry, streets, water distribution, sanitary and stormwater collection systems, and grounds and facility maintenance.
