About The Position
Clay County is now accepting applications to be considered for a Solid Waste Assistant- Landfill with the Solid Waste Department. This is a variable hour position that will average no more than 19 hours per week. Shifts are Monday-Saturday, with hours worked between 8:00 AM-4:30 PM.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must be 18 years of age
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
- Must successfully complete a background investigation
Responsibilities
- Assist landfill operations.
- Recycling collections.
- Demo material recovery.
- Household hazardous waste collections.
- Materials exchange.
