The Space Launch System (SLS) Booster Hardware Integration Engineer will provide on-site Booster Element Office (BEO) representation for Booster hardware development and processing activities at the Kennedy Space Center. The role involves providing multi-discipline expertise for flight hardware, handling/access equipment, production/ground support equipment, and tooling. The engineer will guide the transition of mechanical design drawings into electronic shop instructions, training, and physical implementation. They will also represent hardware subsystem managers, providing insight into planning, processes, issues, and resolutions, and reporting on the status of mechanical assembly and testing operations. Additionally, the role includes assessing SLS Booster programmatic and technical products for design and operations reviews, and coordinating with other MSFC/KSC organizations. The engineer will advise on and maintain cognizance in the processing of Booster structures, assemblies, and integration hardware, including change package engineering and material review boards.
