About The Position

This position assists the header operator with the daily production workload, ensuring that running machines produce quality precision aircraft fasteners. The role also involves keeping the work area clean and orderly.

Requirements

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Responsibilities

  • Assist header operator with daily production workload.
  • Ensure running machines produce quality precision aircraft quality fasteners.
  • Keep work area in clean and orderly fashion.
  • Learn parts number and how to read blueprints.
  • Learn how to use all measuring instruments required to check parts (comparator, micrometers, caliper, protrusion gage, and various other inspect gages).
  • Perform scanning work order transactions for PowerBi.
  • Maintain more than 95% Utilization.
  • Learn to start and stop the header and prepare material wires.
  • Learn Statistical Process Control (SPC) and charts.
  • Perform record keeping, data entry, housekeeping 5S, and follow safety procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
