About The Position

As a Manufacturing Soldering Technician, you will be responsible for performing soldering and assembly tasks in a manufacturing environment. Your expertise in soldering techniques and attention to detail will contribute to the production of high-quality electronic components.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in manufacturing soldering or related field.
Proficiency in soldering techniques for through-hole and surface mount components.
Familiarity with assembly drawings, diagrams, and schematics.
Ability to use soldering irons, reflow ovens, and other soldering connections.
Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot soldering issues.
Excellent time management skills and ability to meet production deadlines.

Responsibilities

Perform soldering and assembly tasks according to established work instructions and quality standards.
Read and interpret assembly drawings, diagrams, and schematics to ensure accurate component placement and soldering.
Utilize various soldering techniques (e.g., through-hole, surface mount) and equipment to assemble electrical components.
Inspect soldered connections for quality and make any necessary rework or repairs.
Collaborate with the production team to meet production schedules and targets.
Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Report any equipment malfunctions or issues to the Production Manager.
Contribute to process improvement initiatives and suggest ways to enhance efficiency and productivity.
