Requirements

• Minimum 4 years in electronics industries involving repair and rework on printed circuit boards
• Experience in multitasking, attention to detail is a must
• Should have either the SMTC soldering class, J-STD-001, or pre-employment soldering test
• Requires IPC-7711/7721 certification

Nice To Haves

• High School diploma preferred
• Associate’s preferred in a technical field

Responsibilities

• Performing all tasks necessary to rework and repair PC Boards
• Complex rework such as removing and replacing IC’s, wire add, piggy back resistors, etc.
• Accessing company procedures and navigating shop floor controls
• Soldering to IPC 610, Class 3
• Perform hand soldering by utilizing a microscope to remove, install, align and straighten parts
• Apply epoxy to PC Boards when applicable
• Remove solder from gold plate, prepare for relating and replace
• Perform such other duties as assigned
• Understand schematic drawings and be able to follow procedures
