The Solder Technician will play a critical role in building and inspecting electronic assemblies used in a variety of applications, ensuring products meet the highest quality and reliability standards. Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• IPC-A-610 Certification (or ability to obtain)
• J-STD-001 Certification (or ability to obtain)
• Electronics assembly or manufacturing experience
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to read and follow technical documentation
• Basic computer skills
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Perform surface mount and through-hole soldering
• Inspect component placement, polarity, and solder joints
• Conduct first article inspections
• Rework and repair circuit boards as needed
• Operate soldering and inspection equipment
• Maintain IPC workmanship standards
• Follow ESD, safety, and quality procedures
• Work closely with production, engineering, and quality teams
• Help identify improvements and support continuous improvement efforts
