About The Position

Venture Solar is hiring a Warehouse Supervisor. Candidates must have experience in receiving, issuing, organizing materials for maximum efficiency and preparing material daily to support Venture Solar residential installation crews.

Requirements

Must have warehouse experience in the solar field - required
Ability to use a forklift to load and unload trucks
Mechanical aptitude to pre-assemble parts
Ability to perform repetitive duties, including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods of time
Must be able to handle materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
Excellent customer service skills required
Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment
Excellent attendance is crucial for the team to achieve success
Valid, Active Driver’s License in the State of hire and Forklift Certification.

Responsibilities

Properly organize warehouse to ensure all material is accessible, countable, and identifiable
Must maintain a clean and orderly warehouse with accurate inventory and prepare all installation kits on time.
Pull material, restock installation crew vans, and return excess materials
Review and document inventory count to ensure accuracy within the warehouse daily
Complete auditable records: packing slips, pick lists, and job closeout paperwork
Deliver materials to job sites when needed
Use computer software system to issue and receive material
