About The Position

We are looking for a reliable, organized, and safety-focused Solar Warehouse Associate to support the day-to-day operations of our solar warehouse. This position will be responsible for receiving, organizing, storing, picking, staging, and preparing solar equipment and materials for installation projects. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, can safely handle materials and warehouse equipment, and has strong attention to detail. This role plays an important part in ensuring our installation teams have the correct materials available when and where they are needed.

Requirements

  • Previous warehouse, logistics, construction, or material-handling experience preferred.
  • Solar industry or solar warehouse experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of basic warehouse and inventory procedures.
  • Ability to safely lift, carry, move, and organize solar equipment and materials.
  • Ability to operate a forklift safely; forklift certification is preferred or willingness to obtain certification.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to use inventory or warehouse management systems.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
  • Ability to work extended hours, weekends, or adjusted schedules when business or project needs require.

Nice To Haves

  • Solar industry or solar warehouse experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and organize incoming solar equipment, materials, and supplies.
  • Pick, stage, and prepare materials for scheduled solar installation projects.
  • Load and unload trucks, deliveries, and shipments safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain an organized warehouse and ensure materials are stored in their designated locations.
  • Assist with inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Track the movement and location of equipment and materials within the warehouse.
  • Identify damaged, missing, or incorrect materials and report discrepancies promptly.
  • Assist with preparing materials for delivery to project sites.
  • Assist with deliveries when needed.
  • Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and properly.
  • Follow all warehouse, safety, and equipment operating procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Assist with warehouse security and ensure equipment and materials are properly secured.
  • Support the maintenance and organization of warehouse equipment and work areas.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records related to warehouse activities.
  • Assist with tracking company vehicles, equipment, and other assets as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with warehouse, installation, operations, and administrative teams.
  • Perform other warehouse and operational duties as assigned.
