Solar Utility Technician Leader (Advanced) - Resurgence I & II - Boron, CA
About The Position
This position is part of NextEra Energy's Power Generation (PGD) non-nuclear operations. The individual will be responsible for daily activities including heavy equipment operation and maintenance, site vegetation management, and overall site support for solar and battery storage operations. The role focuses on supporting site operations with daily maintenance activities in solar and BESS fields, executing routine vegetation maintenance, and operating heavy equipment. There will be seasonal support for winterization and summer readiness preventative maintenance. Solar Utility Technician Leaders provide guidance as the working leader for technicians performing vegetation management and site equipment PM work. Responsibilities include scheduling mobile equipment maintenance, maintaining parts inventory, monitoring mobile equipment performance, diagnosing problems, and recommending optimizations. The leader will also ensure the team develops and adheres to all processes and procedures.
Requirements
- High School Grad / GED
- 3+ years of experience
- 1+ years of Leadership Experience
- Valid Driver's License (NON CDL)
- Demonstrated safety behaviors and values

Responsibilities
