This role involves a tiered approach with Solar Technician I and Solar Technician II positions. The Solar Technician I is responsible for basic solar operational and maintenance tasks, including troubleshooting, mowing, tooling maintenance, inspections, preventative maintenance, snow plowing/shoveling, lockout/tagout procedures, component replacement, and equipment hauling. They will work under the direct guidance of higher-level technicians to assist with more complex duties. The Solar Technician II expands on these responsibilities by including AC system troubleshooting and maintenance, Battery Energy Storage System troubleshooting and maintenance, and all Lockout/Tagout implementation.
