About The Position
Momentum Solar is a leading residential solar company that helps homeowners manage energy costs and offers careers in the renewable energy sector. They are looking for confident, driven sales professionals to act as Solar Canvassing Representatives. In this role, you will interact with homeowners in local communities to explain the advantages of solar energy and schedule appointments for Solar Consultants. This is an outdoor, outside sales position requiring confidence in approaching and engaging homeowners.
Requirements
- Proven ability to approach customers and start conversations
- Strong communication and persuasion skills
- Confidence handling objections and rejection
- A competitive, goal-oriented mindset
- Coachability, reliability, and a strong work ethic
Nice To Haves
- Previous canvassing, outside sales, direct sales, or door-to-door experience preferred, but not required
Responsibilities
- Prospect door to door in assigned neighborhoods
- Educate homeowners about the potential benefits of solar
- Build interest and schedule qualified appointments
- Overcome objections and communicate value effectively
- Track activity and work toward individual and team goals
- Represent Momentum Solar professionally in the community
