Requirements

Proven experience in solar system installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance, with a track record of successful leadership in a similar role.
Strong understanding of solar PV systems, electrical components, and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
3 to 5 years of solar installation experience.
Experience with Enphase, solar edge, multiple module brands, snap n rack, and iron ridge.
Proven history of managing multiple people and successfully keeping them motivated.
Ability to work with computer systems and mobile apps to manage project information and communication with Project Management team.
Must be able to lift 50lb.
Ability to work in extreme environments (example: hot sun, cold, crawl spaces, etc.).
Must be willing and able to climb ladders, stairs, work on rooftops and able to work on your feet for long periods of time.
Excellent customer service skills required.
Must have a valid state driver’s license.
Must have a clean driving record (example- no DUI in the last 5 years).
Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment criminal, driving and drug screen.

Responsibilities

Lead a team in the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of solar systems.
Demonstrate comprehensive technical knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot independently while collaborating effectively with the office support team when needed.
Responsible for leading your crew members and follow all safety procedures.
Train and teach your crew members about electrical and mechanical best practices.
Verify pre-assemble job components in the warehouse.
Layout and assembly of solar modules/array and mounting hardware.
Mechanical/structural mounting of racking, modules and electrical equipment.
Electrical wiring of solar array/system, both AC and DC (Crew lead is responsible; Roof lead as they learn).
Document completion of completed installation.
Clean up of the job site.
Attend mandatory training sessions on new products, installation methodology, and safety.
Efficiently clear service calls, demonstrating agility and problem-solving skills to address issues promptly.
Coordinate closely with the project management team to optimize workflow and ensure timely resolution of client concerns.
