About The Position
Venture Solar is expanding and looking for hardworking individuals to join their installation team. This role is for an experienced installer who thrives on the roof and is comfortable working at heights. The position is based in Biddeford, ME, with daily reporting to that location. The job involves installing racking, mounting hardware, and solar modules on pitched roofs, handling the structural mounting and physical layout of the solar array, and assisting with conduit runs and basic wiring under the guidance of an Electrician.
Requirements
- Previous Solar Installation experience.
- Comfort with heights/roof work.
- A deep respect for safety procedures and the use of PPE.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work in varying conditions (attics/roofs).
- Proficiency with power tools and a "get it done right" attitude.
- A valid, clean driver’s license.
- Commitment to 40+ hour weeks.
Responsibilities
- Install racking, mounting hardware, and solar modules on pitched roofs.
- Handle the structural mounting and physical layout of the solar array.
- Assist with conduit runs and basic wiring under the guidance of the Electrician.
