About The Position

Join SunVena as a Solar Installer and play a crucial role in installing residential rooftop solar systems. Your primary responsibilities will encompass installing and maintaining solar systems while adhering to safety guidelines and quality standards. This role requires teamwork, construction experience, comfort working on roofs, and the ability to travel as needed.

Requirements

0-1 year of construction or solar experience, with preference given to candidates with solar experience.
Capable of working effectively as part of a team.
Must be willing to travel and stay overnight throughout the state when necessary.
Able to work safely with heights on ladders and in confined areas (always supervised).
Must be willing and able to climb ladders, stairs, work on rooftops, and able to work on your feet for long periods of time.
Ability to work in various environments (example: hot sun, cold, rain, crawl spaces, etc.).
Be able to lift, pull, and push materials and equipment (50lbs+) to complete assigned job tasks.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Must pass a drug test.

Preference given to candidates with solar experience.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the team to install racking systems and solar panels on residential roofs.
Assemble solar panels, arrays, and necessary supporting structures.
Perform repairs in compliance with local, state, and OSHA regulations.
Provide service and maintenance for solar systems when required.
Deliver high-quality installations to ensure customer satisfaction.
Promote awareness of heat exhaustion and ensure team members follow proper safety protocols.
Ensure vehicles are clean and well-prepared for daily use.
Occasionally assist in organizing equipment in the warehouse.
Adhere to all PPE and safety regulations, including OSHA and company standards.
Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas on rooftops and in attics.
Complete any additional tasks as directed by leadership.
