About The Position

A Solar Install Foreman is responsible for establishing and maintaining high morale while supervising construction crews, demonstrating mastery and safety of equipment and materials, and ensuring all necessary inspections are completed. This role involves leading and performing Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) during daily huddle meetings, ensuring routine and complete equipment walk-around, DOT vehicle, and pre-operational inspections. The Foreman also produces highly productive cycle times for labor, equipment, and materials, and identifies and evaluates job cost reduction strategies. Collaboration with the Trade Superintendent is required when issuing conduct warnings to ensure consistency with the employee handbook, the jobsite, and the company.

Requirements

One year of experience supervising or working on a construction crew
Working knowledge of cranes, hand signals and load charts
Able to pass an MVR Check, Background Check, Physical and Drug Test
Willingness to travel and relocate to the jobsite (100% travel with rotations)

Nice To Haves

Extensive working knowledge of all mechanical and electrical aspects of panel installation on solar projects
