Requirements

  • 5+ years of electrical experience
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record (required)
  • Knowledge of local electrical codes, circuits, and service requirements
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and basic one-line diagrams
  • Ability to bend ½" – 1¼" EMT and install on rooftops with 10–53° pitch
  • Experience with hand tools, power tools, and electrical diagnostics

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years of solar electrical experience preferred
  • Tesla Powerwall experience or smart home energy management systems

Responsibilities

  • Install electrical equipment and circuits, complete DC conduit runs, and interconnect PV systems to existing residential services.
  • Upgrade customer electrical service as needed — main panel upgrades and meter bases, external disconnects, and code compliance assessments.
  • Perform system testing — voltage, amperage, and power tests for each installation.
  • Complete commissioning and inspection checklists with precision.
  • Follow and enforce safety procedures and protocols on every job site.
  • Support service work orders and assist with other duties as assigned.
