About The Position

This part-time, game night internship with the Orlando Solar Bears is designed to provide interns with hands-on experience, success stories, and networking opportunities within the sports industry. As an intern, you will gain valuable experience applicable to careers both within and outside the sports industry. This position is for the upcoming 2026-27 season, with interviewing starting mid-August and an anticipated start date of mid-September.

Requirements

• Working towards a degree in sports management and/or marketing preferred
• Must be Social Media savvy
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other related computer skills required.
• Must have availability to work 30 out of the 36 home games.

Nice To Haves

• Sales experience helpful but not required
• Adobe Photoshop skills are not required but are valuable.

Responsibilities

• Support with social media initiatives and trends
• Provide support in creation and distribution of marketing material to promote events and games
• Assist in corporate sponsorship prospecting, research, presentation and execution
• Contribute in group ticket lead generation and sales
• Organize the creation and execution of in-game promotions, pregame and intermission contest, and various other marketing initiatives throughout the community.
• All other duties as assigned.
