About The Position

Responsible for correctly sorting soiled linen placed on a moving conveyor belt and putting it into the corresponding sling or cart. The employee follows standard operating procedures and meets quality and production standards. The position is based at Logans Uniforms, 1210 Harry Long Road, in the blue and brick building. The employee reports to Amber Cox or Will Gehring. PPE provided for sorting soiled linen includes gloves, a mask, gowns, and shoe covers. The shift is 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday, with overtime on Fridays. Work takes place in an industrial laundry environment with hot and cold temperatures. The role involves prolonged walking and standing, lifting up to 25 pounds unassisted, and moving carts requiring a maximum 35-pound push/pull measurement.
