About The Position
Responsible for correctly sorting soiled linen placed on a moving conveyor belt. The employee picks up the linen and places it in the corresponding sling or cart, follows standard operating procedures, and meets quality and production standards. The position is temporary and works the stated 8pm–4:30pm shift. Personal protective equipment provided for sorting soiled linen includes gloves, a mask, gowns, and shoe covers.
Requirements
- Be able to stand for up to 10 hours a day.
- Be able to push or pull linen carts weighing up to 800 lbs on wheels.
- Be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Be able to operate a computer and printer.
- Be able to consistently meet physical requirements such as bending and twisting.
