About The Position
Responsible for completing processing of linen to meet quality and efficiency standards. This is a non-exempt position. The employee in this position may be requested to perform other job-related tasks and responsibilities than those stated above.
Requirements
- Able to respond to basic verbal commands

- Laundry or housekeeping experience a plus
Responsibilities
- Sort clean and/or soiled linen for processing
- Feed clean linen through moving belt folding machines
- Manually fold small pieces of terry
- Meet or exceed quality and productivity standards
- Operate Flat Worker Ironer, Feeders folders, Shakers, Stackers and Wrappers
- Tie out - Laundry - Ties bundles of clean dried linen and terry
- Sort through linen products, depositing linen products into respective containers
- Preventing accidents by working safely is to be the highest priority
- Tracking production
- Maintains a clean and safe work area
- Notifying Shift Manager of any mechanical or material issues
- Performs other duties as required
- Participate fully in company health and safety programs and comply with all company OSHA policies and procedures
- Follow all lawful employer safety and health rules
- Wear and / or use Personal Protective Equipment, when and how instructed
- Report hazardous conditions to management
- Report any job-related injury or illness to management and seek treatment promptly
