About The Position

The Software V&V Lead will be responsible for leading verification and validation activities for software development, with a strong focus on aerospace domain requirements and safety-critical systems. This role requires extensive experience in software testing methodologies, adherence to DO-178B/C standards, and proficiency with relevant tools and programming languages.

Requirements

  • Around 10 years experience in Building instrumentation, SCA (Structural Coverage Analysis) Build creation and Coverage analysis
  • Aerospace domain experience is mandatory
  • 6+ years experience in RTRT tool usage for SCA activities
  • Strong experience of Software Testing methodologies, including Black-box, White-box, and boundary value analysis.
  • 6+ years strong experience with DO-178B/C standards and their application in software verification processes
  • Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in avionics systems (e.g., C, Ada)
  • Experience with software testing tools and frameworks for unit, integration (SSIT and HSIT), and system level testing
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify root causes of defects
  • Strong documentation and communication skills to clearly articulate test results and findings
  • Familiarity with requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS)
  • Experience in working within a regulated environment with a focus on safety-critical systems
  • Experience on Configuration and change management activities using tools like Synergy CM/Change, Polarion/SVN

Responsibilities

  • Lead verification and validation efforts for software development.
  • Build instrumentation and create SCA (Structural Coverage Analysis) builds.
  • Perform coverage analysis.
  • Utilize RTRT tool for SCA activities.
  • Apply software testing methodologies including Black-box, White-box, and boundary value analysis.
  • Ensure application of DO-178B/C standards in software verification processes.
  • Conduct unit, integration (SSIT and HSIT), and system level testing.
  • Identify root causes of defects through analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Document and communicate test results and findings clearly.
  • Manage configurations and changes using tools like Synergy CM/Change or Polarion/SVN.
  • Work within a regulated environment focused on safety-critical systems.
