The F-35 Core Processing Software (CPSW) Development Team is looking to expand the support of production test activities (CSCI Test Team). This position is primarily for Software Test Engineering. The candidate must have the ability to analyze requirements and create safety critical test cases from those requirements to ensure the proper behavior of the air vehicle. The candidate will perform software quality testing and will be responsible for producing engineering documentation about the test activity. This will include creating Software Quality Test Report Summaries and Software Problem Anomaly Reports for internal and external stake holders. The candidate shall have the ability to perform root cause analysis for failing test cases and then effectively communicate the findings to the CPSW development team for resolution. The candidate must be process oriented and have a great eye for detail as the CPSW software must adhere to the Software Evidence Assurance Level 1 process (SEAL1). This position will also provide the opportunity to develop automation utilities applications to improve test quality and efficiency. In this role, the candidate should be proficient developing C++ software, creating swat scripts, and perform unit testing.

Requirements

  • Experience with C++

  • Experience with GitLab
  • Bachelor's degree or above in a STEM discipline from an accredited college/university
  • Must be a US citizen.
  • Ability to obtain a government security clearance.
