About The Position
We are seeking a senior Software Test Analyst to design and execute manual and automated tests, develop test plans, and perform API and performance testing in a fast-paced Agile environment. The role focuses on ensuring quality across web applications, data validation, and accessibility testing, with a strong emphasis on collaborative defect management and test data generation.
Requirements
- Manual & automated testing: design/execution of test cases, test plans, and strategies
- API testing: Postman, REST Client, RESTAssured; data validation and test data setup
- Web UI automation: Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress; Java-based test automation; Gherkin (Given/When/Then)
- Databases: SQL/PL-SQL queries for test data setup and validation (Oracle/SQL Server)
- Agile/DevOps tooling: Azure DevOps Testing, Git (version control), CI/CD integration; trimester defect tracking
- Strong communication
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Ability to work onsite in Lansing (hybrid: Wed/Thu in-person; Mon/Tue/Fri remote)
Nice To Haves
- Experience with performance/load testing (JMeter or LoadRunner)
- Experience with ADA compliance testing (e.g., AccVerify, JAWS)
- Experience with QA methodologies, reporting/metrics, and securing SDLC processes
