Software Systems Engineer
About The Position
Cardinal Technology Systems Corp., a government IT solutions provider serving commercial and government initiatives across the United States, is seeking a Software Systems Engineer. Under minimal direction, the engineer provides specialized expertise across multiple systems and software disciplines, along with general knowledge of related disciplines and application implications. The role involves in-depth analysis and technical support of systems software products, including complex problem resolution, design, development, testing, operational integration, and user support. The engineer also contributes to planning and conversion for new hardware and software products, maintains and configures software, and supports operating systems planning and evaluation.
Requirements
- Must possess an IT-II security clearance or have a current National Agency Check with Local Agency Check and Credit Check (NACLC).
- Basic federal clearance requirements include U.S. citizenship, a clear criminal history check, and no recent or pending bankruptcies.
- At least 8 years of experience in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems/Technology.

Responsibilities
