Northrop Grumman is seeking Software Engineers. This position will be located at our Defense Systems sector in Huntsville, AL. This requisition may be filled as either an Associate Software Systems Engineer (T01) or an Software Systems Engineer (T02). The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Strategic Deterrent Systems Division.

Requirements

  • Be completing or has completed their bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • Be majoring in or having majored in Software Engineering, Systems Engineering or Software Development.
  • Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)
  • Be completing or has completed their master’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • Be majoring in or having majored in Software Engineering, Systems Engineering or Software Development.
  • Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)

Nice To Haves

  • Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.70/4.0 or higher
  • Previous internship/co-op or other work experience, leadership & teamwork capabilities, interpersonal communication skills, and activities (professional/community/extracurricular).

Responsibilities

  • Help create/update system and software-relevant architecture artifacts and ensure the design aligns to constraints (cost/schedule/risk)
  • Help define/analyze requirements, support allocation/traceability, and document the planned verification method for requirements
  • Assist with MBSE tools/methods and integration with other digital engineering tools as required by the program plan/SEMP
