About The Position

Parsons is seeking a Lead Software/Systems Engineer to join their team in support of specialized military cyber operations. The role involves being a critical member of a small team, responsible for applying software architecture and development capabilities to a critical national security mission. The position is part of the Federal Solutions team, which delivers resources to US government customers for global missions in defense, security, intelligence, infrastructure, and environmental sectors. Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI
  • Bachelor's degree in related technical field and 15+ years of professional related experience; Master's degree in related field will be considered in lieu of 4 years on experience
  • Minimum 10+ years experience in exploit/CNO tool development and/or systems/embedded development
  • Minimum 5+ years utilizing programming languages such as C, C++, x86 Assembly
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals
  • Experience developing in Windows
  • Experience developing in 1 or more of: Linux, Debian, Ubuntu, Red Hat (RHEL), OpenSUSE
  • Version control (Git)

Nice To Haves

  • 15+ years of experience in exploit/CNO tool development
  • 13+ years utilizing programming languages such as Python, C, C++, x86
  • Experience with CMake / CTest
  • Familiarity with CI / CD Pipelines
  • Cross-Platform Windows-Linux development
  • Building and designing small to medium applications in Python
  • Experience with Windows Internals and/or Linux kernel level programming
  • Knowledge of concurrent application development concepts (multi-threaded and/or distributed)
  • Familiarity with antivirus evasion techniques
  • Assembly languages (x86, ARM, MIPS, etc)
  • Additional Operating Systems (Android, iOS, OSX)
  • Certified/trained in one or more of the following: Corelan Bootcamp/Advanced, ManTech ACTP Windows/Linux/VR&E, OSCP, OSED, OSWE
  • Experience supporting USCYBERCOM, NSA, DoD cyber operations, or related mission environments

Responsibilities

  • Design, architect, and implement small to large-scale CNO tools predominantly in C
  • Allocate tasking to support larger-scale CNO tool development
  • Contribute to server-side components in Python
