About The Position

TSC’s Product Solutions organization is seeking a Software System Test Engineer to join our engineering team in Aurora, CO; Huntsville, AL; Arlington, VA; or Bedminster, NJ. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, a passion for problem-solving, and the ability to work collaboratively.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field.
5-7 years of professional experience in software/system testing, preferably for embedded systems.
Strong proficiency in developing and executing system test cases for embedded software.
Experience with Linux-based embedded systems and network communication testing.
Solid understanding of IP networking fundamentals and protocol testing/debugging.
Proficient in test automation using scripting languages (Python, Bash).
Proficient in Git source control and CI workflows.
U.S. Citizenship is required.
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.

Nice To Haves

Experience with automated builds, test execution, artifact management, and deployment pipelines.
Experience with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) and system integration testing.
Experience testing radar, SIGINT, EW, autopilot, PNT/guidance, or unmanned systems.
Experience with RF signal chain testing (mixing, filtering, up/down conversion).

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain automated and manual test frameworks for embedded software.
Collaborate with software and hardware engineering teams to define test requirements and strategies.
Perform integration, regression, and performance testing across multiple platforms and environments.
Analyze test results, identify root causes of issues, and drive resolution with development teams.
Mentor junior test engineers and provide technical guidance throughout the testing lifecycle.
Document test plans, procedures, and results for internal and customer deliverables.
Support software release management by validating deliverables and ensuring quality standards.
Utilize scripting tools (Python, Bash) for test automation and data analysis.
