About The Position

Hurco Companies, Inc. is looking for a Software Support Engineer to join our team at our Corporate Headquarters in Indianapolis! . The Software Support Engineer will provide technical machinist support to our service, sales, and engineering teams for applications dealing with complex knowledge of company product functionality, performance and operating system. Travel to customer sites may occasionally be required.

Requirements

• Two or Four year technical degree or equivalent experience
• 3+ years Proven machinist or applications experience in 3- and 5-axis mills and multi-axis lathes
• Experience with CAD/CAM, work-holding concepts and cutting tool selection and technology

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Hurco controls is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

• Testing software for application conformance
• Time studies/ customer training/ applications support (phone and at customer location)
• Reporting of issues identified, and activities performed
• Support Testing / Customer Support
