Leidos is currently seeking a Software Specialist to join their team. The primary responsibilities include leading small groups of teammates to successfully deliver milestones on agreed requirements and schedule, and managing customer expectations to ensure alignment with agreed requirements. The role involves analyzing systems requirements, timelines, requirements allocation, defining interfaces, system testing and integration, and quality assurance. The specialist will also be responsible for technical planning, system design, development and integration, and system verification and validation. This position influences the development of innovative solutions that impact strategic customer goals and results, recommends new technical solutions in support of strategy and operations, and applies technical knowledge to resolve complex problems by developing innovative solutions through research and integration of best practices. The role requires the ability to communicate with leadership regarding matters of significant importance, including new concepts, practices, and approaches, and to influence others in weighing alternatives and determining the best value approach to phased solutioning.
