About The Position

ELB is seeking a Software Security Team (SST) Analyst to support U.S. Air Force mission planning operations at Hill Air Force Base. This role directly supports U.S. Air Force mission planning operations by identifying and remediating system vulnerabilities, maintaining patch management processes, and ensuring cybersecurity compliance across Mission Planning Environments. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, technically strong cybersecurity professional who can operate independently, support field teams, and contribute to mission-critical system integrity in a dynamic operational environment.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Active DoD Secret Security Security Clearance
  • CompTIA Security+ certification (required within 6 months of hire)
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field OR 4+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience with Windows operating systems (Windows 10/11)
  • Basic knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy Objects (GPOs), and vulnerability scanning tools

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting U.S. Air Force Mission Planning systems
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting
  • Experience working in classified or mission-critical IT environments

Responsibilities

  • Identify, prioritize, and remediate system vulnerabilities using cybersecurity tools, including Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS)
  • Test, validate, and deploy software patches and updates to maintain secure and compliant mission planning systems
  • Develop and maintain configuration-controlled Group Policy Objects (GPOs) supporting systems within the Air Force network
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues through structured analysis, testing, and coordination with crossfunctional teams
  • Collaborate with engineers and testers to identify and resolve software deficiencies impacting mission planning system performance
  • Serve as a technical resource to program leadership and field personnel on patch management, vulnerability remediation, and cybersecurity compliance
