About The Position

This role focuses on ensuring the safety of software systems by identifying, evaluating, and reducing safety risks. The Software Safety Developer/Analyst will perform comprehensive analysis of software design and code, conduct unit testing, and review documentation to uphold safety standards. The position is full-time and requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field.
0–2 years of experience in software development, software engineering, systems engineering, or a related discipline.
Knowledge of software development principles and engineering best practices.
Proficient in at least two programming languages.
Familiarity with SQL and /or relational database concepts.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

Nice To Haves

Experience with one or more of the following programming languages - Ada, C++, Python.
Active CompTIA Security+ certification.
Exposure to software safety, mission-critical systems, regulated environments, or defense/aerospace programs.
