About The Position

Erias Ventures is seeking a Software Reverse Engineer to perform reverse engineering and debugging on existing software. The role involves identifying software defects, proposing corrections, and researching open-source vulnerabilities. The engineer will also develop methods to detect software vulnerabilities. This position requires a current Top-Secret/SCI with FS polygraph security clearance, and candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance.

Requirements

A current Top-Secret/SCI with FS polygraph security clearance is required.
Five (5) years’ experience as an embedded developer, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
Experience with low-level programming and assembly language
Experience with C/C++ and Python programming
Knowledge of industry standard reverse-engineering tools.

Nice To Haves

Experience developing software for embedded systems.
Experience automating reverse engineering tasks.
Four (4) years of additional embedded developer experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
A Master’s degree in a relevant discipline may be substituted for two (2) years of experience, reducing the requirement to three (3) years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

Perform reverse engineering and debugging on existing software.
Identify defects in software and provide ways to correct defects.
Research open-source vulnerabilities related to software.
Develop methods and techniques to identify if running software is vulnerable.
