Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a STEM-related field (e.g. Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, etc.) from an ABET-accredited school plus 2-4 years of relevant experience or Masters with less than 2 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Experience traveling for work and be willing to travel up to 75 % to test events both CONUS and OCONUS for extended periods and on short notice.
  • Excellent teamwork skills.
  • Good fundamentals in RedHat Linux experience.
  • Bash scripting experience.
  • Networking experience.
  • Must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville – North Alabama, AL, area.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must possess (as well as maintain) a Final Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Support advanced technology radar programs through local field testing and both CONUS and OCONUS test event support.
  • Develop documentation to support installation and operation of the systems to aid in training of new personnel.
  • Work closely with other skilled engineers during system installation and operation.
  • Perform onsite network configuration and debugging while working alongside military personnel.
  • Create and/or modify minor bash scripts to establish a repeatable and simple solution to support day-to-day activities.
