About The Position

One of our direct clients is urgently looking for a Sr. QA Engineer in San Ramon, CA. This role requires extensive experience in software quality engineering, with a focus on developing automation frameworks, testing microservices, and working closely with customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of various technologies and methodologies, including API automation, Python, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and performance testing. A methodical approach to testing and product development lifecycles is essential, along with the ability to take complete ownership of services under test. Prior experience in a QMS compliant setting and familiarity with GE healthcare or GE internal tools is desired.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience working as a Software Quality Engineer.
• Hands-on experience in developing REST API automation framework using Java/Python.
• Experience with micro services testing and test automation.
• Hands-on experience with Python stack and technologies.
• Experience with CLI automation.
• Experience working closely with customers with excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, AWS.
• Experience with performance testing for APIs.
• Experience with verification and validation activities in a QMS compliant setting.
• Must be able to take complete ownership of services under test.
• Familiarity with product development lifecycles and highly methodical test discipline, applicable to all product development cycles.

Nice To Haves

• Prior GE healthcare experience desired.
• Familiarity with GE internal tools.
