About The Position

The Software Quality Engineer supports software quality assurance and AI-powered test automation on a government client engagement, with a focus on autonomous testing validation. This hands-on testing role validates application changes, integrations, AI-generated test cases, and autonomous test execution results. The engineer identifies defects, verifies test coverage, and ensures reliable testing outcomes while working within established frameworks and standards. It is not a test architecture or technical leadership position. The role is remote within the United States and sits in the Technology department. It requires U.S. citizenship and eligibility to obtain and maintain the required Public Trust determination and DoD system access. The engineer works with developers, technical leadership, and client stakeholders, and follows government security, access-control, and data-handling requirements, including protection of GFI and CUI where applicable. Success means producing autonomous testing results that engineering and government stakeholders can trust. The engineer applies human judgment to assess whether autonomous agents tested the right functionality, interpreted requirements correctly, identified legitimate risks, and provided sufficient evidence for technical and release decisions, while maintaining security, traceability, and accountability.
