About The Position

DPP is seeking a Software Quality Engineer III for an opportunity with our client in the Aerospace and Defense Manufacturing industry. This is a 4-month W2 contract position located onsite in Huntsville, AL. The role requires US citizenship and the ability to obtain/maintain a Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

Develop, modify, apply, and maintain standards for software quality operating methods, processes, systems and procedures.
Conduct software inspection, testing, verification and validation.
Implement software development and maintenance processes and methods.
Ensure measures meet acceptable reliability standards.
Develop overall operating criteria to ensure implementation of the software quality program according to project, process and contract requirements and objectives.
Ensure that project and process control documentation are compliant with requirements, objectives and/or contract.
Review software design, change specifications, and plans against contractual and/or process requirements. Reviews include applicable specifications, materials, tools, techniques, and methodologies.
Perform or direct verification of software requirement allocations, traceability, and testability.
Verify hardware in accordance with applicable Technical Data Packages (TDP).
Verify connections according to applicable Interface Control Documents (ICD).
Verify remove and replace activities of Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) that impact the system’s configuration.
Verify Operating Infrastructure Versions (OIV), Fire Control Network (FCN), Hardware (HW), IBCS application Software (SW), system name and location, and hard drive Document Control Number (DCN).
Support hardware integration activities and events.
Assist Configuration Management with configuration status accounting of the labs.
Support internal process compliance audits.
