About The Position

The Lockwood Group is seeking a Software Quality Assurance and Tester to support a C5ISR hardware and software effort for a U.S. Army customer located at Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG), MD. This program provides engineering, programmatic, and lifecycle support to enhance mission-critical command, control, communications, computers, cyber, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (C5ISR) capabilities in support of Army modernization priorities. The Software Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst / Tester will support quality assurance and test activities for C5ISR hardware and software systems within a Government program office environment. This position will assist in validating system functionality, supporting verification and validation efforts, and ensuring software and integrated systems meet performance, reliability, and compliance requirements. The role requires experience supporting DoD weapon systems development and acquisition programs, with the ability to operate effectively within structured engineering and test environments.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science (BS) degree
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience
Minimum 5 years supporting the Department of Defense contracting market in major weapon systems product development and acquisition programs
Experience supporting software quality assurance, testing, verification, or validation activities
Strong analytical and documentation skills
Ability to work within structured engineering and acquisition environments
Active DoD Secret clearance
