Software Quality Assurance Specialist/Applications Tester - TS/SCI with Polygraph
About The Position
GDIT is seeking an experienced Software QA Specialist/Applications Tester to join our team in building scalable, maintainable, and high-performance backend services. As a Software Tester supporting the customer, you will be trusted to solve complex IT issues while delivering outstanding customer service. GDIT is seeking highly cleared candidates with active TS SCI w/ Poly to provide software development, engineering, database design, and Software Testing in support of enterprise-wide systems and products for the Intelligence Community (IC). Work with the latest commercial products such as AWS and ServiceNow in an Agile environment on various applications designed and maintained for a broad range of IC customers.
Requirements
- Active TS SCI w/ Poly clearance.
- 6+ years of related experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
- Automated Testing.
- Automation Testing Tools.
- Agile.
- JIRA/Confluence.
- SQL/test validation.
- MySQL/Oracle.
- Selenium/Cypress or other automated testing tools.
- Strong expertise with AWS.
- Strong familiarity with ServiceNow.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes.
- US Citizenship Required.
Responsibilities
- Develops and implements quality control methodologies to ensure compliance with quality assurance standards, guidelines, and procedures in a large computer-based organization.
- Develops and executes software test plans to identify software code discrepancies and their root causes.
- Establishes and maintains a process for evaluating hardware, software, and associated documentation and/or assists in the evaluation.
- Conducts and/or participates in formal and informal reviews at pre-determined points throughout the development life cycle.
- Manual testing.
- Interpreting system requirements.
- Writing test plans and test scripts.
- Executing test scripts and documenting results.
- Communicating with development teams the result of tests.
