About The Position

The Software Quality Analyst will develop and maintain quality plans, procedures, and documentation that meet customer, regulatory, and corporate standards for both make- and buy-item software. Responsibilities include managing a centralized database of quality data, collecting and analyzing key software metrics, and presenting trend analyses and corrective-action recommendations to the Corrective Action Board and senior leadership. The role conducts internal software process audits, oversees peer-review metric management, and participates in functional qualification testing, ensuring test results are captured and fed back into continuous-improvement cycles. Additionally, the analyst witnesses software builds, verifies media integrity, and collaborates with manufacturing, engineering, supply-chain, and customer teams to resolve quality issues, develop dispositions, and implement corrective actions for recurring discrepancies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or equivalent experience/combined
  • AS9100 Knowledge/Experience
  • Experience with verification and validation processes
  • Auditing Experience
  • Data Analytics and/or Quality Engineering Experience
  • Must be able to possess Secret Security Clearance
  • Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • Must be a US Citizen

Nice To Haves

  • Tableau experience or similar data analytics tools
  • Software Engineering / Software Quality experience
  • Defect trending experience using Excel, PivotTables, Dashboards, Root Cause Analysis (e.g. 5Why, Ishikawa Diagrams, Flow Charts, Pareto Analysis).
  • Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt
  • Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems and Audit experience (AS9100, ISO9001)
  • Experience with development, production, and sustainment contracts.
  • Secret Security Clearance
