About The Position

The Software Quality Analyst ensures software changes are tested and validated before release to production and is responsible for the full QA lifecycle within an agile team. The role uses manual and automated testing for functional and regression phases, with additional performance and security testing skills and the ability to assess testing needs beyond the obvious. The analyst works closely with developers and business analysts in an agile sprint format to develop and execute test plans and test cases. QA lifecycle responsibilities span feature conception and design, functional testing, security testing, performance testing, regression testing, and deployment. The role requires deep knowledge of QA methodology, automation, and AF-specific products and tools. The position is largely autonomous within agile teams. Work products are peer reviewed by the team, and the QA Manager may occasionally review specific work before production deployment. The analyst is expected to be self-starting, adaptable, collaborative, and committed to quality and continuous improvement.
