About The Position

Responsibilities

Debug moderately complex software products using systematic tests to develop, apply, and maintain quality standards.
Perform software tests on code and enhancements.
Develop, modify, and execute software test plans under general supervision.
Analyze and write test standards and procedures.
Maintain documentation of test results to assist with debugging and software modification.
Analyze test results to ensure existing functionality and recommend corrective action.
Consult with development engineers to resolve problems.
Provide feedback in preparation of technical appraisals of programming languages, systems, and computation software.
Ensure quality computer integration into scientific computation, data acquisition, and processing functions.
Provide informal guidance to new team members.
