About The Position

Cricut is seeking an experienced and versatile Software QA Engineer to support quality across Web, Mobile, Native, and API-based applications. In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering and product teams to validate new features and ensure a high-quality end-user experience. The ideal candidate can confidently represent QA perspectives in team discussions, communicate risks clearly, and provide actionable feedback that helps improve customer-facing experiences. This position requires a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, hands-on experience with a variety of testing techniques, familiarity with executing and maintaining automation test suites, and excellent written communication and organizational skills.

Requirements

6+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or a related role
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
Experience working with user stories, features, and acceptance criteria in an agile environment
Solid understanding of creating and executing test cases and test plans
Experience running and maintaining automated testing suites
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate risks and issues
Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams
Solid understanding of QA methodologies and best practices across the software development lifecycle

Nice To Haves

Experience testing ecommerce or subscription-based systems, including purchases, renewals, and cancellations.
Experience testing across multiple platforms, including Apple, Google, Web, and backend APIs
