About The Position

Apple’s watchOS QA team is seeking an expert Software Quality Engineer to help ensure Watch applications are reliable and user-focused. The role supports qualification of iOS and watchOS applications and their supporting frameworks. The team uses fast-paced development and close collaboration between Engineering and QA. The position involves functional testing of iOS and watchOS applications, sometimes across concurrent release vectors, and contributing to test planning, risk analysis, cross-functional coordination, and system integration testing.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
• Passion for debugging difficult problems and driving results with multifunctional teams.
• Experience developing test strategies, including writing test plans, test cases, custom tools, and testing architectures.
• Excellent communication skills for frequent interaction with engineering teams, management, and other Apple organizations.
• Ability to lift equipment weighing more than 50 pounds.
