About The Position

The Software Product Manager is a member of Vantage’s Data and Analytics team, whose mission is to derive value from data and enable the company to see risk differently. The role manages software products and data assets that help realize business opportunities across Vantage. It reports to the Chief Data Officer and is a remote opportunity for US colleagues, who may work anywhere in the United States except US territories and possessions.

Requirements

A minimum of 5 years of experience in software product management roles.
Proven success managing the full product development lifecycle.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Excellent listening and communication skills.
Passion for data and analytics.
Ability to process and adapt to change in a rapid-growth company environment.
Curiosity, thrift, and resourcefulness to manage the unknowns of growing a specialty (re)insurance business.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
Insurtech experience.

Responsibilities

Analyze business needs, gather requirements, and develop plans to address them.
Translate business needs into detailed requirements.
Develop, implement, and maintain production timelines across multiple departments.
Drive all processes in the software product lifecycle, including discovery, requirements, roadmap development, execution, and launch.
Collaborate with end users, engineering, UX, and QA, and balance resources to support organizational success.
Apply and promote agile best practices.
Provide regular updates to stakeholders.
Define, measure, and monitor product success metrics.
