As the Software License Senior Specialist within our Asset Management Office, you will assist and contribute to the ongoing enrichment of Loblaw’s digital asset management solution. You will actively work with product teams to meet their business and operational requirements by assisting managing the data, processes and solutions to achieve the desired outcomes and contracted services.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of software vendor licensing rules and terms including Microsoft, Adobe and Oracle
  • Demonstrated experience in data analytics highlighting your ability to analyze and interpret data from multiple sources
  • Working knowledge with asset management tools like SCCM, Service Now and Flexera
  • Experience working collaboratively with a diverse group of individuals where you have demonstrated your intuitive problem-solving skills and ability to influence others
  • Energetic, creative, detail oriented and results focused individual, who provides excellent customer service and communicates well at multiple levels of interaction

Responsibilities

  • Conduct a monthly and quarterly compliance position of primary and secondary Publishers - Microsoft Licensing expertise is a must.
  • Facilitate and conduct monthly stakeholder meeting for driving Software Optimization
  • Assist in analyzing software license purchase and software discovery data and perform reconciliation and remediation tasks to ensure data accuracy and quality.
  • Assist the Director of Asset Management in processing and maintaining software procurement, contract, and software inventory in client’s solution
  • Assist the Director of Asset Management with conducting software license research to support clients purchasing and contracting requirements.
  • Provide regular maintenance, feedback on data quality and accuracy in Asset Management technology stack (Flexera & ServiceNow)
  • Assist Business Stakeholders as needed with decision making for Software selections based on functionality
  • Provide end user functional support.
  • Current and past experience with Software Audits preferred
  • Provide feedback on internal operations to improve the delivery of services during strategic negotiations
