About The Position
General Dynamics Mission Systems has an immediate opening for a Software Engineering Intern. The position offers an opportunity to apply classroom-learned skills to projects supporting national defense services and missions. The selected candidate will work with collaborative teams on technical projects associated with the company’s core mission, alongside a technically accomplished group of colleagues. The internship offers a flexible work environment where contributions are recognized and rewarded.
Requirements
- Be enrolled in an accredited degree program in Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or another related scientific or technical discipline.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of engineering technology.
- Be eligible to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance within a reasonable time based on requirements.
- Meet U.S. Government eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
- Be a U.S. citizen due to the nature of work performed at company facilities.

- Sophomore standing or higher in an accredited degree program is preferred.
