Davidson is seeking an Entry/Junior Software Integrator (Tester) in Huntsville, Alabama. Davidson is seeking an Entry/Junior Software Integrator/Tester to support the Integrated Battle Command System (IBCS). The ideal candidate will have experience with collaborating with Git/GitLab, familiarity with hardware and software integration and testing, and excellent documentation skills. Additionally, strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail will be essential in ensuring robust and secure software solutions.

Requirements

0-2 years working knowledge of Ansible and Linux
Active CompTIA Security+ certification
Ability to collaborate with government stakeholders and Agile teams
Fundamental working knowledge of Git/GitLab
Must possess an active Secret DoD Clearance

Nice To Haves

BS in Engineering field or related discipline
Experience with C++, Python
Experience with markdown files
Experience with Git and/or GitLab
Documentation experience
Hardware/Software testing experience

Responsibilities

Develop and Test hardware/software configuration, deployment, integration, and installation to capture detailed instructions that will be incorporated into the product's official documentation
Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure documentation accuracy and readability
Use software development tools to collaborate and produce documentation artifacts
Perform entry-level troubleshooting of software issues as knowledge expands
