The schedule for this position is M-F 6:30am – 3:30pm. Job Summary: The Software Integration Engineer position plays a central part in the software development lifecycle by bridging the gap between Software Developers and end users. Initial responsibilities focus on software testing and validation to ensure products meet user needs and quality standards. As product knowledge grows, the role will expand to include direct customer support. Successful candidates are positive, detail‑oriented, able to work both independently and collaboratively, and motivated by playing a key role in delivering high‑quality software to end users.

Requirements

  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or equivalent relevant experience
  • 5+ years of experience in software integration, testing, or system-level validation
  • Strong understanding of computer systems and networking fundamentals
  • Experience working in software development and test environments
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
  • Able and willing to travel up to 30% (primarily domestic, some international)
  • Able and willing to work M-F 6:30AM – 3:30PM

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with control systems (SCADA, surveillance, access control) preferred
  • Familiarity with security or sensing hardware (cameras, radars, analytics platforms) preferred

Responsibilities

  • Test and validate software to ensure it meets user and mission requirements
  • Design, execute, and maintain test plans; document and report defects clearly
  • Collaborate closely with developers to diagnose issues and improve product quality
  • Set up and configure hardware/software systems for internal testing and external demonstrations
  • Provide remote technical support to customers and partners
  • Troubleshoot software, system, and deployment issues in lab and field environments
  • Travel for installations, demos, and test events
  • Develop deep product knowledge and grow into a customer-facing technical support role
  • Work independently while contributing effectively to a collaborative team
